Every August we participate in a school supply drive benefiting the Pinellas County School Board and Foster children in Hillsborough county. Thank you to our referring dentist’ offices and patients for helping us supply many children with the needed supplies for their upcoming school year!
We have done two major food & donation drives benefiting the homeless and hungry in our community. In 2014 we raised over $1000 from our raffle baskets and filled 4 barrels of food for this very deserving organization, and in 2015 we held our first food drive competition within our referral offices and filled more than 35 boxes of food and 10 large bags of clothes. Thank you to all of our patients and referral offices who participated! Together we made a difference in our community! We look forward to continuing to support Metropolitan Ministries!
Free Dental Day for Veterans in need: 2014 was our first Free Dental Day for Veterans. It was a huge success and our goal is to make it an annual event. We are so grateful to be able to give back to a few veterans who have sacrificed so much for our freedom.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month , and we took a day to honor and remember friends, family and patients who have been affected by this terrible disease. Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. While most people are aware of breast cancer, many forget to take the steps to have a plan to detect the disease in its early stages and encourage others to do the same. In 2017, our team participated in the “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer” walk in St. Pete.

Save the Face Race: Oral Cancer Screening saves lives! We do this on a daily basis at our office and will be participating in the Save the Face Race in April 2016!
We worked way out of our comfort zone and got together 3 sprint triathlon groups for the 2015 St. Anthony’s Triathlon benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Prostate Cancer Foundation. We had such a great time training together and accomplishing incredible physical and emotional goals all while helping out some charities that are near and dear to our hearts.

The entire office participated in a Memorial Spin Class for Dr. Stephen Kobernick benefiting the Marfan Foundation. Dr. Kobernick was the founder of our practice, and he suddenly passed away in 2013. His passing was a tremendous loss and he is missed daily. Most of our team also worked for Dr. Kobernick and we are dedicated to continuing his legacy of providing exceptional patient centered care with compassion and integrity.

Habitat for Humanity: Was a cause that Dr. Kobernick and his team often participated in. A great way to give back to the community!
Dr. Britten invites local dentists and their staff to attend informative continuing education seminars. The goal of continuing education seminars provided by Dr. Todd Britten are to generally increase the attendees’ knowledge, familiarity and comfort of procedures offered in a periodontal practice, as well as treatment options for patients. We hope to provide this information in an engaging environment with excellent quality multimedia and state of the art facilities to enrich the experience.
