Meet the Team

Julia

Julia began her career in periodontics in 2006 through her passion for helping others. As Dr. Britten’s patient care and treatment coordinator, Julia is committed to providing outstanding care to our patients. She feels a sense of pride in the quality of care our office provides each patient. She enjoys coming to work each day alongside a tremendous team! Julia is married to the love of her life, Shane, and they have 5 incredible children and 3 precious granddaughters. They enjoy traveling and leisure days on the water.

Michelle

As office manager for Dr. Britten, Michelle’s goal is to oversee the day-to-day activities of our practice. She is committed to our patients by helping them have a wonderful experience in our office. Not only do we strive for optimal periodontal health, we feel it is important for our patients to be comfortable and at ease during their experience with us. Many of our patients are like family; she loves hearing their stories between visits. As a team, we love to laugh and have a good time both in and out of the office. Michelle has three grown children and three wonderful grandchildren. Traveling, gardening, and just enjoying the outdoors are several of her passions.

Meg

Meg helps coordinate marketing and social media campaigns as well as help plan community outreach, team building and continuing education events.  She is so proud to be part of this practice and believes that we do our best to deliver compassionate and ethical care with a smile. Dr. Britten and Meg met at the University of Florida, where they both received their undergraduate and graduate degrees. Yes, they are lifetime Gators! They have been married since 2008 and have 3 beautiful children. Meg loves spending time with friends and family, painting, sketching, traveling and brushing and flossing of course;)

Jen

As one of Dr. Britten’s surgical dental assistants, Jen strives to make our patients feel comfortable as she understands that coming to the dentist can definitely be an experience that causes anxiety! The most important thing to Jen is to help our patients feel more like our family and less like a patient. Her dental career began in the Air Force in 1996.  Since then she has worked in many aspects of the dental office, but by far assisting is her favorite. Jen, along with her husband Brian and son Connor, relocated to Florida from New Jersey to be closer to her father. Outside of the office she enjoyes reading, swimming and cheering on her son’s baseball team.

Christina

Christina is a Florida native (5th generation in Pinellas county)! She graduated from Osceola High School. Christina began her dental career in 2021. She has been a dental assistant in both orthodontics and restorative dentistry but has found her dental home in periodontics. What Christina loves most about our office is the family atmosphere. She loves to help her patients to always feel as comfortable as possible in the dental chair. Christina is in the process of continuing her education with plans to go to dental hygiene school in the near future. In her free time, Christina loves to hang out with her dog Georgia, go fishing, boating and spend time with family and friends, especially her nephew.

Rheannon

As a surgical dental assistant for Dr. Britten, Rheannon is committed to providing quality care, with a focus on developing lasting, trusted relationships with our patients. She assists with pre-surgical care and education, vital tasks during surgeries, and post-surgical care.  Rheannon moved to Florida from Rhode Island in 2014 and has a thriving house cleaning and pet sitting business that keeps her occupied when not being our right hand! She loves her old dog Tyson, racking up the Wii “Just Dance” points, gardening, and serenading our team when great music comes on in the office.

Samantha

As a dental hygienist, Samantha loves getting to know her patients and forming long lasting relationships while helping them achieve optimum oral health. She is proud to say that she has been a part of this practice since graduating from St. Petersburg College in 1998. She is originally from Nassau, Bahamas but has lived in the Tampa Bay area since 1993. Samantha is married with two children and enjoys reading and all things outdoors.

Judy

Judy began her dental hygiene career in periodontics upon graduating from St. Petersburg College in 1970. She worked with a well known periodontist in Clearwater until 2003 when the practice was sold to Dr. Stephen Kobernick. She enjoys working with Dr Britten and the many new skills she has learned including recently obtaining her Certificate in Administering Local Anesthesia. She loves hearing the stories of all of her patients, many of whom she has been seeing for more than 30 years. The comfort of her patients is of utmost importance in her practice, as well as consistently aiming for excellence in their periodontal management both educationally as well as clinically. Her greatest joy is time spent with her three daughters, her granddaughter, her 2 grandsons and her Corgi Riley. She also enjoys walking/running, traveling and her ministry work with Unity Church of Clearwater.
